VIP’s Only

I can’t speak for all backstage areas, I can only speak for ours… it’s not very glamorous.  If you were ever able to make your way through the maze of production rooms, catering areas, and VIP/hospitality zones at a Linking Park concert into one of our dressing rooms, my guess is that what you’d find would leave you underwhelmed.  If I was there, and it was anytime 1.5 hours or less before the show, I’d most likely be eating or stretching.  Neither of which is very exciting, but admittedly, I’m a bass player, and you’d probably be looking for anyone/anything other than me anyway.

All that aside, I do know of one “VIP Area,” that I’d do anything to be able to have access  to.  It just so happens that the two bouncers of this highly sought after location are the toughest 4 and 7 year old girls you will ever meet.  I don’t know what I’ve done to make the “list,” but I’m very grateful to be on it.  Apparently the requirements for entry are satisfying one of two stipulations:

  1. You are a girl
  2. You are me

I have been to my fair share of VIP events and VIP areas, but this one is the best…FullSizeRender 4.jpg
